Grout Paint & Grout Colour: Re-Colour and Seal Grout with Colour'N'Seal

Stained, patchy or dated grout can make a clean floor look tired. Rather than raking out and regrouting, you can re-colour and seal your existing grout in one step with Colour'N'Seal, a Professional Grade grout colourant made in Australia.

What is Colour'N'Seal?

Colour'N'Seal is a grout colourant and sealer built on a NanoPlus modified waterborne epoxy formula. It bonds to the grout joint to give a new, even colour and helps protect against oil, food and grime. It also helps inhibit mould and mildew. It suits walls and floors, indoors and outdoors, in homes and commercial areas, and works on sanded, unsanded, textured and epoxy grout.

  • 25 colours: from Ultra White, Antique White and Alabaster through Buff, Travertine and Mocha to Light Grey, Charred Ash, Midnight and Black.
  • Coverage: each 250 mL per coat covers approximately 20 m² of 200×200 mm tiles, 30 m² of 300×300 mm, 40 m² of 400×400 mm or 60 m² of 600×600 mm (3 mm joint). Wider joints and porous grout use more.
  • Applicator: the washable, reusable Colour'N'Seal Applicator makes it easy to paint grout lines neatly.

How to colour grout

  1. Deep clean the grout: use Grout Clean+ or XtremeClean+ to remove grime, soap scum and grease. On acid-resistant porcelain and ceramic tiles, OxiTreat+ helps remove heavy build-up.
  2. Rinse and dry: the grout must be completely dry, usually 24 hours.
  3. Test: try your colour on a small area and let it dry to check the shade.
  4. Apply: paint Colour'N'Seal along the joints with the applicator, working a small area at a time.
  5. Wipe excess: remove any colourant from the tile face with a damp cloth before it dries.
  6. Second coat: apply a second coat if needed for full, even coverage.
  7. Maintain: clean with EzyClean+, a pH neutral cleaner.

Prefer a darker grout without changing colour?

If your grout is just blotchy, Enhance'N'Seal can darken and seal it. For clear protection that keeps the existing colour, use Aqua-Seal Gold+ or Spray'N'Seal for small areas.

Always test a small, inconspicuous area first. See all Grout Colourants, Grout Care or grout sealers & cleaners.
